The candidate will be responsible for production planning, scheduling, monitoring production progress, material coordination and ensuring timely completion of manufacturing activities.

The role requires close coordination with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, Fabrication, Machine Shop and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on project requirements and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and monitor production schedules, work orders and job priorities.
- Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Machine Shop and Assembly teams for timely execution of planned activities.
- Monitor Plan vs. Actual production and identify deviations, delays and bottlenecks.
- Follow up on raw materials, bought-out components, consumables and other production requirements with Purchase and Stores.
- Monitor material availability and highlight shortages that may affect production schedules.
- Coordinate with the Design/Engineering team regarding drawings, BOMs, revisions and technical requirements.
- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and ensure smooth movement of jobs between different production stages.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores and Dispatch teams for timely inspection, clearance and dispatch of completed jobs.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports, MIS reports and schedule adherence reports.
- Track pending jobs and follow up with concerned departments for timely completion.




- Assist in capacity planning, manpower planning and machine utilization.
- Identify production constraints and escalate critical issues to the concerned Manager/HOD.
- Maintain proper PPC records, production schedules and planning documents.
- Ensure effective coordination between different departments to achieve on-time delivery and production targets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for improving productivity, reducing delays and optimizing resources.

Required Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in PPC / Production Planning / Manufacturing / Fabrication will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in heavy engineering, machinery manufacturing, fabrication or project-based manufacturing will have an advantage.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC) concepts.
- Understanding of BOM, engineering drawings, routing and work orders.
- Knowledge of material planning and inventory control.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems will be an added advantage.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple jobs and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
