Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Designer to design, plan, and optimize warehouse layouts and storage systems. The candidate will be responsible for improving space utilization, material flow, storage efficiency, and overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:-

Design and optimize warehouse layouts based on operational requirements.

Plan storage locations, racking systems, loading/unloading areas, picking zones, and material movement paths.

Analyze warehouse capacity and improve space utilization.

Develop warehouse layout drawings using AutoCAD or similar design software.

Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and logistics teams to understand workflow requirements.

Plan efficient material flow and reduce unnecessary movement and handling.

Support warehouse expansion, relocation, and redesign projects.

Prepare layout drawings, capacity calculations, and design documentation.





Ensure warehouse designs comply with safety and operational standards.

Identify opportunities for improving productivity and reducing operational costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

3–6 years of relevant experience in warehouse design/layout planning within the logistics or 3PL industry.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, storage systems, racking, material handling, and space planning.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Good understanding of warehouse capacity calculations and material flow.

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in logistics companies, 3PL warehouses, distribution centers, or large-scale warehouse projects will be preferred.

Salary: As per industry standards / based on experience.
