Experience: 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, with a robust preference for candidates who have worked at a CA firm

Accounting Operations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Tally ERP and internal systems.
- Handle day-to-day entries, vendor payments, fee receipts, payroll accounting and petty cash
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny on a regular scheduleManage month-end and year-end closing, including provisions, accruals and journal entries Supervise and review the work of junior accounts staff across campuses.

Taxation and Compliance

- Own GST compliance end to end: registrations, monthly and annual returns, reconciliations and input credit
- Manage TDS deduction, deposit, returns and issuance of certificates
- Prepare and file income tax returns and advance tax workings for the company and for the individual directors
- Handle tax planning basics, notices and assessment support in coordination with our CA firm




- Ensure ROC and other statutory filings for a private limited company are tracked and completed on time
- Support statutory, internal and GL audits with complete and well-organised documentation

Reporting, Cost Analysis and Dashboards

- Prepare monthly MIS covering revenue, expenses, receivables and cash position for each campus
- Build and maintain simple dashboards in Excel or Google Sheets for fee collections, costs and budgets
- Conduct cost analysis by campus and by expense head, and flag variances and savings opportunities
- Assist management with budgeting, cash flow planning and financial inputs for new initiatives

Location and Work Timings

- Based at our Hungerford Street campus, Minto Park, Kolkata
- Monday to Saturday, 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
