Qualification:

MD/DNB in Radio-Diagnosis (Radiology).

Valid West Bengal Medical Council Registration.

Experience:

Minimum 2–5 years' experience as Consultant Radiologist in a multispecialty hospital (preferred).

Purpose of the Position

To provide accurate, timely and high-quality diagnostic imaging services through interpretation and reporting of X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound and Doppler studies, ensuring patient safety and compliance with NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Reporting

Report all routine and emergency X-Ray examinations.

Report CT Scan examinations (Plain & Contrast).

Report MRI Scan examinations (Plain & Contrast).

Review and report CT, MRI and X-Ray films when requested.

Correlate imaging findings with clinical history and laboratory investigations.

Provide provisional and final radiology reports within the defined turnaround time (TAT).

Ultrasound & Doppler

Perform and report routine Ultrasound examinations.

Perform Color Doppler and Duplex Doppler studies.

Perform abdominal, pelvic, obstetric (if privileged), thyroid, breast, soft tissue and vascular ultrasound examinations.

Image-Guided Procedures

Perform USG-guided FNAC.

Perform USG-guided biopsy.





Perform CT-guided biopsy.

Perform aspiration, drainage and other image-guided interventional procedures as per granted clinical privileges.

Clinical Consultation

Provide emergency radiology consultation.

Quality & Patient Safety

Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff and visitors.

Verify patient identity before imaging procedures.

Ensure informed consent for contrast studies and invasive procedures.

Report adverse events and contrast reactions.

Documentation

Maintain complete radiology documentation.

Ensure accurate RIS/PACS reporting.

Complete reports within prescribed turnaround time.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Follow all NABH standards and hospital policies.

Participate in quality improvement activities.

Teaching & Training

Train junior doctors, residents, technicians and interns.

Conduct clinical discussions and case presentations.

Participate in CME and continuing career development.

Assist clinicians in emergency image-guided procedures.

Pay: From ₹3,740.00 per hour
