Job Description:

BERG is currently seeking an experienced Structural Draughtsman with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in structural detailing. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in producing and checking structural drawings for a wide range of global projects, ensuring precision and adherence to international standards. Also, he should possess detailing knowledge of vessels/tanks. Tekla Modelling and Detailing will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed structural drawings and fabrication drawings for various types of structures.
- Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain quality and consistency across project documentation.
- Work on projects involving vessels, tanks, and other complex steel structures.
- Ensure all drawings meet required codes and standards.

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in structural detailing and drawing checking.
- Strong knowledge in detailing of vessels/tanks is essential.
- Proficiency in structural detailing software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Experience in Tekla Structures for modeling and detailing is a strong advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:





· Developed comprehensive structural drawings for diverse oil & gas infrastructure projects, including offshore platforms, handrails, ladders, skid-mounted structures, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs), and high-rise facilities, adhering to industry standards and client specifications. Develop comprehensive fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and general arrangement drawings in compliance with project specifications and standards.

· Perform thorough checking and coordination to identify and resolve clashes and ensure accuracy of drawings.

· Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and material take-offs for procurement and planning purposes.

· Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

· Apply advanced knowledge of connection design, material estimation, and detailing standards in day-to-day work.

· Provide Drafting support in preparation of detail drawings of vessels and tanks.

· Efficiently manage large-scale, complex modelling tasks while maintaining precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Skills:

6–8 years of qualified experience in Structural Detailing.

Strong understanding of connection detailing, structural fabrication standards, and steel construction processes.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹660,000.00 per month
