Qualification

- Degree in Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

Experience

- 8+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in FMCG, Food Processing, Manufacturing, Packaging, or Process Industries.

Technical Knowledge

- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Electrical systems (HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, transformers, DG sets).
- Electronics and industrial control systems.
- VFDs, soft starters, sensors, relays, contactors, and instrumentation.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance & RCA Analysis / CAPA
- Electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and control panel wiring.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and statutory compliance.

Job Purpose

To ensure uninterrupted operation of plant machinery by effectively managing electrical maintenance, PLC systems, and automation equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities





Electrical Maintenance

- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment.
- Ensure maximum machine availability with minimum downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment within defined timelines.

PLC & Automation (DAY TO DAY & PM)

- Diagnose and rectify PLC-related faults.
- Monitor and maintain PLC-controlled production lines.
- Coordinate with automation vendors for programming modifications and upgrades when required.

Electrical Systems Management

- Maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, MCC, PCC, VFDs, motors, and control panels.
- Ensure proper functioning of power distribution systems.
- Monitor electrical load and optimize energy consumption.

Preventive Maintenance

- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history.
- Improve equipment reliability through root cause analysis.
