WE ARE HIRING | MANAGER – TRANSFORMER TESTING

Telawne Power Equipments Pvt. Ltd., a leading Transformer Manufacturing Company, is looking for an experienced Manager – Transformer Testing with strong expertise in Power Transformer Testing.

In-hand Salary: 1,25,000 – 1,80,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Transformer Testing Department and testing team.
- Plan, supervise and execute testing activities for Power Transformers.
- Conduct and oversee routine, type and special tests as per applicable IS / IEC standards and customer specifications.
- Ensure testing of transformers is carried out accurately and within defined timelines.
- Review and approve test procedures, test reports and inspection documentation.
- Handle testing of power transformer parameters including IR, ratio, winding resistance, vector group, no-load/load losses, impedance, dielectric tests and other applicable tests.
- Coordinate with Quality, Design, Production and Engineering teams to resolve testing-related issues.
- Liaise with customers and third-party inspectors during testing, inspection and witnessing activities.
- Analyse test results,



identify deviations and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instruments.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and testing standards.
- Train, guide and develop testing engineers and technicians.
- Maintain testing records, MIS and departmental documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, quality and turnaround time.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 20–25 years of relevant experience in Transformer Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Power Transformer Testing is mandatory.
- Should have good knowledge of IS / IEC standards, testing procedures and test equipment.
- Strong team-handling, problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Candidates from the Transformer Manufacturing Industry will be strongly preferred.
- Immediate Joiners are preferred.
