About the Role

Smartconnect Technologies is looking for a Technical Lead to work on the UNFYD product. We are looking for a hands-on technology leader who combines strong software engineering skills with a product and solutioning mindset.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across the complete software development lifecycle, leading a team, solving complex technical problems, and working with modern AI/Generative AI technologies.

Hands-on experience with Claude is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the technical development and delivery of UNFYD product modules and features.
- Provide technical direction to the engineering team and drive sound architectural and design decisions.
- Remain hands-on with coding, debugging, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
- Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle — requirement understanding, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Evaluate different technology approaches and recommend the best solution based on business needs, scalability, performance, security, and cost.
- Lead, mentor, and manage developers; promote strong engineering and coding practices.
- Conduct design and code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality.
- Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, Business,



and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Drive adoption of modern technologies, particularly AI/Generative AI, within the product.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause resolution.

AI / Claude – Mandatory

The candidate must have practical experience with Generative AI and Claude (Anthropic).

Expected knowledge/experience includes:

- Claude API
- LLM-based application development
- Prompt engineering
- AI-powered automation and workflows
- RAG and contextual AI applications
- AI agents / tool calling
- LLM integration with enterprise applications
- Understanding of AI performance, scalability, security, and cost considerations

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6–10 years of experience in software development, with experience in a Technical Lead/Senior Engineer role.
- Strong hands-on coding and software development background.
- Experience with the end-to-end SDLC.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design.
- Experience working with any modern technology stack; robust programming fundamentals are more important than a specific language.




- Strong solutioning and problem-solving mindset.
- Good understanding of scalable and maintainable application development.
- Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and people management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to understand business problems and convert them into effective technology solutions.
- Hands-on Claude/Generative AI experience is mandatory.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Good to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Microservices and distributed systems experience.
- REST APIs / GraphQL.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- SQL and NoSQL databases.
- RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and AI agents.
- Experience building enterprise/SaaS products.

Education

Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
