Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and responsible Co-Teacher to support the Class Teacher in delivering a safe, engaging, and effective learning experience for students. The Co-Teacher will work closely with the Class Teacher to support classroom instruction, student engagement, classroom management, academic activities, and the overall development of students.

The ideal candidate should be patient, approachable, well-organised, and passionate about working with children.

Key Responsibilities1. Classroom & Academic Support

- Assist the Class Teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons.
- Support students during classroom activities, worksheets, projects, and assessments.
- Provide individual attention and additional support to students who require assistance.
- Reinforce concepts taught by the Class Teacher through activities and practice sessions.
- Assist in preparing teaching-learning materials, worksheets, displays, and classroom resources.
- Support activity-based, experiential, and child-centric learning practices.
- Assist in maintaining students' academic records and portfolios.

2. Student Support & Development

- Monitor students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation, confidence, and collaboration among students.
- Provide appropriate support to students with different learning needs.
- Observe students and communicate relevant concerns to the Class Teacher or Coordinator.
- Ensure students follow classroom routines and school expectations.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, respectful, and positive classroom environment.

3. Classroom Management

- Support the Class Teacher in maintaining discipline and classroom routines.




- Assist with student movement during transitions, breaks, activities, and school events.
- Ensure classroom materials and resources are organised and properly maintained.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly classroom setting.
- Monitor students during assigned duties and activities.

4. Co-Curricular & School Activities

- Support the organisation of assemblies, celebrations, competitions, field trips, clubs, and other school events.
- Assist students during sports, cultural, art, music, and other activities.
- Participate actively in school programmes and initiatives.
- Support classroom displays, exhibitions, projects, and student showcases.

5. Parent & Team Coordination

- Work closely with the Class Teacher and Grade Coordinator to ensure effective student support.
- Assist in communicating relevant student observations to the Class Teacher.
- Participate in parent interactions when required and under the guidance of the Class Teacher.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff for student development.
- Attend staff meetings, training programmes, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Educational Qualification

Essential:

- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
- D.El.Ed. / B.Ed. / equivalent recognised teacher-training qualification preferred, depending on the grade level and school requirement.
- Candidates must meet the applicable qualification requirements prescribed for the relevant teaching level.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in a school environment is preferred.
- Freshers with a strong interest in teaching and working with children may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
