1. JOB SUMMARY

Aniket Infracon is looking for a technically competent and responsible Junior Site Engineer to support the execution and supervision of an Industrial Construction Project at Vatva, Ahmedabad.

The Junior Site Engineer will assist the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager in planning and executing daily site activities, coordinating with supervisors and contractors, checking drawings and measurements, monitoring quality, maintaining site records, and ensuring work is completed safely and as per project requirements.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in industrial/civil construction and good knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, structural works, and site measurements.

2. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Site Execution

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
- Assist the Senior Engineer/Project Manager in planning daily and weekly work activities.
- Monitor progress and report delays or site-related issues.
- Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of different construction activities.
- Coordinate with Site Supervisors, contractors, and labour teams.

B. Civil Construction Activities

Supervise and monitor activities including:

- Excavation and earthwork
- PCC and RCC works
- Foundation and footing works
- Reinforcement and bar bending
- Shuttering/formwork
- Concrete pouring and curing
- Columns, beams, slabs, and pedestals
- Brick/block masonry
- Plastering
- Flooring
- Waterproofing
- Drainage and other civil works
- Industrial flooring and finishing activities

C. Drawing & Technical Coordination

- Read and understand civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and location of construction activities.
- Ensure execution is as per the latest approved drawings.
- Coordinate with senior engineers for drawing-related clarifications.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them immediately.
- Maintain records of drawings and revisions.

D. Measurement & Quantity

- Take site measurements for completed works.
- Assist in preparing quantity calculations and material requirements.
- Verify contractor/subcontractor measurements.
- Assist in preparation and checking of RA Bills.
- Maintain records of executed quantities.




- Monitor material consumption and wastage.

E. Quality Control

- Monitor the quality of construction activities.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, line, level, dimensions, and alignment before concreting.
- Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections and testing.
- Ensure concrete and other materials are used according to approved specifications.
- Identify defective work and coordinate corrective action.
- Maintain proper quality-related records.

F. Manpower & Contractor Coordination

- Coordinate with Site Supervisors and subcontractors.
- Monitor manpower deployment and productivity.
- Assist in allocating work to labour teams.
- Follow up with contractors regarding planned activities.
- Ensure work targets are communicated clearly to supervisors and workers.

G. Material Coordination

- Prepare daily/weekly material requirements based on planned work.
- Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for timely availability of materials.
- Check material availability before starting work.
- Monitor proper utilization of cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, shuttering material, and other construction materials.
- Minimize unnecessary material wastage.

H. Safety Compliance

- Ensure construction activities are carried out according to site safety procedures.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with the Safety Officer regarding unsafe conditions.
- Follow safety requirements for excavation, work at height, lifting, concreting, welding, and other site activities.
- Report accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices immediately.

I. Site Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily site progress reports.
- Maintain records of manpower and work activities.
- Maintain site measurement and quantity records.
- Prepare material requirement statements.
- Record site instructions and technical issues.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for completed works.

3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Preferred Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, or
- Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Candidates with relevant practical industrial construction experience will be preferred.

4. EXPERIENCE

Required Experience: 2–3 Years

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

- Industrial construction
- Factory projects
- Warehouse projects
- RCC structures
- PEB/industrial shed projects




- Commercial/infrastructure construction
- Civil and structural execution

5. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Good understanding of civil construction activities.
- Ability to read civil and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, and concreting.
- Knowledge of site measurements and quantity calculations.
- Basic knowledge of BOQ.
- Basic knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Basic understanding of construction safety.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Performance will be evaluated based on:

- Timely execution of assigned site activities.
- Quality of construction work.
- Accuracy of measurements and quantity records.
- Adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
- Effective coordination with supervisors and contractors.

- Compliance with safety procedures.
- Accuracy and timely submission of site reports.
- Ability to identify and resolve site-level issues.

8. JOB LOCATION

Vatva Industrial Area, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

The candidate should be comfortable working full-time at the industrial project site and handling site-based responsibilities.

9. SALARY

Salary: As per experience and technical competency.

Final compensation will be discussed during the interview and finalized based on the candidate's experience, technical knowledge, practical site exposure, drawing-reading ability, and performance in the technical round.

10. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Junior Site Engineer with 2–3 years of practical construction experience who can independently monitor routine site activities, understand drawings, coordinate with supervisors and contractors, maintain measurements and records, and ensure proper execution under the guidance of the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager.

Candidates with prior experience in industrial/factory projects, RCC structures, PEB projects, warehouses, or similar industrial construction projects will be preferred.
