Job Summary

The Supply Chain & Packaging Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, coordination, and packaging requirements of the Research & Development Lab. This role will ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging components, samples, and other R&D; requirements while coordinating closely with suppliers, R&D;, Production, Quality, and other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end procurement and supply of R&D; raw materials, packaging materials, and laboratory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, availability, lead times, deliveries, and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging components, samples, and R&D; supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or delays in projects.
- Coordinate packaging requirements for new product development, trials, samples, and pilot batches.
- Source and coordinate different packaging formats such as bottles, tubes, jars, pumps, caps, labels, cartons, and other components as required.
- Work closely with the R&D; team to understand project-wise material and packaging requirements.
- Maintain project-wise procurement and packaging trackers and ensure materials are available as per development timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors for packaging samples, artwork, specifications, and modifications.




- Support evaluation and selection of packaging components based on product requirements, functionality, quality, and cost.
- Coordinate with Quality and R&D; teams for approval of incoming materials and packaging components.
- Maintain purchase records, specifications, vendor details, and related documentation.
- Identify reliable vendors and support development of new suppliers for R&D; requirements.
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Support cost optimization and efficient utilization of materials wherever possible.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Commerce, Business Administration, Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Packaging, Purchase, or a related role.
- Experience in the cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or personal care industry will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

- Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of procurement and inventory management.
- Knowledge of cosmetic packaging components will be preferred.
- Solid follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and timelines simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused approach.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
