Ziion Technology is a reputed IT organization in Mohali, working on domestic and international IT projects and providing industry-oriented training and career development programs in various technologies.
We are looking for a confident, target-oriented and smart Admission Counselor who can effectively counsel students and convert enquiries/leads into admissions for our IT training and internship programs.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication, convincing and sales skills, along with the ability to understand a student's career goals and recommend the right course.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp and face-to-face counselling.
- Understand students' career goals, interests and requirements.
- Explain our IT courses, training programs, internships and career opportunities effectively.
- Convert leads and enquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students and maintain lead records.
- Apply effective sales techniques, objection handling and closing strategies.
- Build trust and create a positive counselling experience for students and parents.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Maintain proper follow-up and conversion reports.
- Coordinate with the internal team for admission and onboarding processes.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Good knowledge of sales and lead-conversion techniques.
- Ability to handle objections and close admissions confidently.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office/Google Sheets and basic CRM/lead management.
- Experience in selling IT courses, educational programs, training, internships or similar services will be an advantage.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is not just a counsellor, but a strong sales professional who knows how to understand a student's requirement, create value, handle objections and successfully convert a genuine enquiry into an admission.
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month + Performance Incentives
Salary will be based on experience, communication skills and sales performance.
