Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to be the sole owner of our cloud infrastructure, DevOps processes, security, and compliance. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building reliable systems from the ground up while ensuring operational excellence.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing production infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, disaster recovery, cloud security, and regulatory compliance with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure)
- Manage virtual machines, networking, storage, DNS, SSL certificates, and load balancers
- Configure high availability and disaster recovery strategies
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost
- Plan infrastructure capacity as the company grows

DevOps & Automation

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate build, deployment, and release processes
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation
- Automate server provisioning and configuration management
- Standardize deployment processes across development, staging, and production

Kubernetes & Containers

- Deploy and manage Docker-based applications
- Manage Kubernetes clusters
- Implement rolling deployments and blue-green deployment strategies
- Optimize container resource utilization
- Maintain container registry and image security

Security & Compliance

- Implement cloud security best practices
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Configure firewalls, NSGs, security groups, VPNs, and private networking
- Implement vulnerability management and patching
- Manage secrets using secure vault solutions
- Ensure encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Conduct regular security reviews and audits

Compliance





Own and maintain technical compliance for standards such as:

ISO 27001

SOC 2

GDPR

HIPAA (if applicable)

PCI-DSS (if applicable)

Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining infrastructure documentation
- Managing audit evidence
- Implementing security controls
- Supporting external audits
- Maintaining asset inventories
- Managing backup policies
- Disaster Recovery planning
- Business Continuity planning

Monitoring & Reliability

- Implement centralized logging
- Configure monitoring dashboards
- Set up alerts and incident management
- Perform root cause analysis
- Improve system reliability and uptime
- Define and monitor SLAs and SLOs

Backup & Disaster Recovery

- Design backup strategies
- Test disaster recovery plans regularly
- Ensure Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) are met
- Manage backup retention policies

Database Infrastructure

- Support SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL infrastructure
- Configure backups and replication
- Monitor database performance
- Assist developers with infrastructure-related database issues

Networking

- Design secure network architecture
- Manage DNS
- Configure VPNs
- Configure reverse proxies
- Implement WAF where required
- Troubleshoot networking issues

Cost Optimization

- Monitor cloud spending
- Recommend cost-saving opportunities
- Right-size infrastructure
- Manage reserved instances or savings plans where appropriate
- Produce monthly infrastructure cost reports





Developer Enablement

- Improve developer productivity
- Maintain build environments
- Troubleshoot deployment issues
- Create infrastructure documentation
- Establish DevOps best practices

Required Skills

- 7+ years in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Linux administration
- Windows Server administration
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Terraform or Bicep
- GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins
- PowerShell and Bash scripting

Networking fundamentals

- SSL/TLS
- DNS
- Load balancing
- IAM
- Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog
- SQL Server administration fundamentals
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Security hardening

Preferred Skills

- Microsoft Azure certifications or AWS certifications
- Experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience with vulnerability management tools
- Experience with incident response
- Familiarity with AI-assisted infrastructure automation

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
