GHD Infra Developers is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finishing Engineer (Civil) to oversee and monitor finishing works at construction sites. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all finishing activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project timelines, and safety requirements.

Role & responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor all finishing works at the construction site from execution through completion.
- Ensure finishing activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate and supervise works related to plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors and windows, masonry, and other finishing activities.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure finishing works meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, incomplete works, and quality issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, site supervisors, architects, consultants, and internal teams for smooth execution.
- Review construction and finishing drawings and ensure proper implementation at site.
- Monitor daily progress of finishing activities and ensure work is completed within the project timelines.
- Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues related to finishing works.
- Ensure proper coordination between different finishing activities to avoid delays and rework.
- Check measurements and verify completed work before submitting for approval.
- Ensure proper utilization and timely availability of materials, manpower, tools, and equipment required for finishing works.
- Monitor material quality and ensure materials are used as per approved specifications.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection reports, measurements, and other site documentation.
- Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure required inspections and approvals are completed.




- Ensure all finishing activities comply with site safety practices and applicable standards.
- Identify defects and ensure timely rectification before final handover.
- Assist in final inspection, snagging, and project handover activities.
- Maintain proper records of completed, pending, and rectification works.
- Provide regular updates on finishing progress, quality concerns, and site requirements to management.

Qualification & Experience

- 3–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction and finishing works.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or real estate construction projects will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in managing finishing activities, contractors, quality inspections, snagging, and rectification works.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
