PeeJay Max Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Audit Accountant to support internal and financial audit activities, verify accounting records, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct internal audits of financial transactions, accounts, and supporting documents.
- Verify invoices, bills, receipts, payments, purchase, sales, and expense records.
- Review accounting entries and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and errors.
- Check compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Verify cash, bank, customer, vendor, and ledger balances.
- Identify financial irregularities, control gaps, and process deviations and report them to management.
- Prepare audit observations, working papers, and audit reports.




- Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Support management in improving financial controls and accounting processes.
- Maintain proper audit documentation and records.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in audit, accounting, or internal audit functions.
- Valuable knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, internal controls, and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP software and MS Excel.
