Interior Designer – Residential Interiors

We are looking for a creative and practical Interior Designer to join our growing residential interior design team.

The ideal candidate should have a good eye for design, strong space-planning skills, and the ability to convert concepts into practical, executable interior solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop interior concepts for residential projects.
- Create space plans, furniture layouts, elevations, and design presentations.
- Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, pooja units, crockery units, storage solutions, and other residential interiors.
- Prepare and coordinate AutoCAD drawings.
- Create 3D models and presentations using SketchUp or similar software.
- Select laminates, finishes, colours, hardware, lighting, and other materials.
- Understand client requirements and suggest suitable design solutions.
- Present designs clearly to clients and incorporate feedback.
- Coordinate with the 2D drawing team, site team, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensure that proposed designs are practical and executable at site.
- Visit project sites when required.
- Handle multiple projects and meet agreed timelines.

Preferred Skills

- V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion or similar rendering software
- Client presentation and client-handling experience
- Knowledge of laminates, plywood, hardware, lighting, and modular furniture
- Experience coordinating with carpenters, vendors, and site teams

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant residential interior-design experience preferred.
- Fresh candidates with an exceptional portfolio may also be considered.
- Should be creative while also understanding practical execution and budgets.
- Should be willing to travel to project sites within Chennai when required.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, take ownership of projects, and gradually handle designs independently from concept through execution.

Pay: ₹11,436.25 - ₹32,088.91 per month
