Kickstart your career in WiFi Validation by testing cutting-edge IEEE 802.11 wireless technologies, analyzing network performance, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality connectivity solutions.

As a SVT Engineer, you will play a vital role in validating Wi-Fi software for cutting edge IOT devices. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams, including firmware developers, product managers, and test teams, to ensure that the Wi-Fi products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and interoperability across various environments.

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

- Perform testing and validation of WiFi protocol features based on IEEE 802.11 standards

- Execute manual and automated test cases for wireless networking products

- Analyze WiFi packet captures using tools like Wireshark

- Identify, log, and track software defects using bug tracking tools

- Validate wireless features such as:

- - Authentication

- Roaming

- Throughput

- Security protocols (WPA/WPA2/WPA3)

- Power saving

- Work closely with development and QA teams to reproduce and debug issues

- Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation

- Participate in interoperability and regression testing

- Bachelors or Masters from ECE or CS. Python knowledge is plus.
- Candidate must have good communication skills with willingness to interact with various groups within the company.
