Job Title: Purchase Engineer

Location: New Alipore

Job Summary

Auro Factory is looking for a Purchase Engineer with experience in manufacturing and industrial procurement. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing engineering materials, developing vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

* Procure raw materials, engineering components, fabrication items, stainless steel materials, electrical, mechanical, and industrial consumables.

* Source and develop vendors, obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders.

* Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality teams to ensure timely material availability.

* Manage procurement for Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) components, stainless steel pipe manufacturing, fabrication,



and plant maintenance requirements.

* Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.

* Maintain procurement records and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Requirements

* Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or a related Engineering discipline.

* 3–7 years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing or heavy engineering industry.

* Knowledge of engineering materials, fabrication, vendor management, and industrial purchasing.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Tally systems.

* Robust negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
