Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in software quality assurance, functional testing, regression testing, API testing, and automation testing.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing test scenarios, executing test cases, identifying defects, validating application functionality, and collaborating with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, test data, and testing documentation.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, and data.
- Perform database testing and validate backend data using SQL queries.
- Participate in regression testing for new releases.
- Perform exploratory and compatibility testing across supported environments.
- Contribute to automation testing initiatives where applicable.
- Analyze test results and prepare defect and test execution reports.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Support UAT and production validation activities.




- Ensure software quality standards are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

- 4–6 years of professional QA/testing experience.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Strong experience in functional and regression testing.
- Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Experience with defect management and tracking tools.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and Postman or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of defect lifecycle and severity/priority.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

- Automation testing experience using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
- Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or another programming language for automation.
- Experience with JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, or similar frameworks.
- CI/CD and automated testing pipeline experience.
- Performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Mobile application testing experience.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Experience with Jira or similar test/defect management tools.
- Cloud testing experience.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant QA/testing experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
