Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day safety activities at the construction site.
- Ensure strict compliance with company HSE policies, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
- Ensure proper use of PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, harnesses, gloves, goggles, etc.
- Monitor safety practices related to work at height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting operations, electrical work, hot work, and confined spaces.
- Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and safety awareness sessions for workers and site staff.
- Ensure that workers are properly trained and understand the required safety procedures before commencing work.
- Monitor and verify work permits and ensure compliance with permit-to-work procedures.
- Maintain daily safety inspection reports, observation reports, toolbox talk records, and other HSE documentation.
- Report and investigate near misses, accidents, incidents, and unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to resolve safety-related issues.
- Ensure proper barricading, signage, access control, housekeeping, and safe material storage at the site.
- Monitor safety compliance of subcontractors and labour contractors.
- Conduct emergency preparedness drills and ensure workers are aware of emergency procedures.
- Follow up on identified safety observations and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.




- Immediately escalate critical safety violations to the Safety Manager / Project Management.
- Support the implementation of site-specific Emergency Response Plans and Risk Assessments.
- Ensure safety records and statutory documents are maintained properly for audits and inspections.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in Occupational Health & Safety / Construction Safety will be an advantage.
- 2–4 years of experience in construction/project-site safety.
- Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, projects preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of construction safety practices and applicable statutory requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, engineers, and management.
- Good observation, reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: Up to ₹22,000.00 per month
