THE ROLE

Candidate to actively work on L1, L2 related issues on Windows platform.

He would be responsible for managing client infrastructure and needs to resolve client queries within stipulated timeframe.

Candidate would be a part of 24*7 rotation support and would be responsible for answering Customer queries over the emails/calls.

Responsibilities

- Handling Windows server 2008, 2012 and 2016 on day-day basis.
- Handling of Microsoft Exchange Server (2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and O365) with Active Directory 2008, 2012 R2
- Administration of Microsoft Exchange server (2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and O365)
- Migration mailboxes from Exchange 2010Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2016O365 platform
- Routing/Mail Flow and Set up Installation and Configuration concepts • Troubleshoot Mail flow, DAG, Database dismount, Log Shipping issues, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues both at the client (Microsoft outlook/ActiveSync) and server side
- Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure setups - DNS, DHCP, GPO

- Troubleshoot Backup related issues on Unitrends, Veeam,



Symantec Backups Exac, etc.
- Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams
- Recognize, identify and prioritize incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies and operational impact
- Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures.
- Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status

Skills Required

Windows Server L1

- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016
- Active Directory Knowledge
- Configure and troubleshoot GPO and Replication issues
- Troubleshoot DFS Replication issues
- Contact vendors in case of system failures
- Maintain/update runbooks and wiki databases with latest client information
- Troubleshoot server and network issues, make sure all services are operational and error free
- Ensure replication of systems are operating properly
- Upgrade system hardware and software, perform patching during non-business hours

Email services

- Administration for Exchange 2010, 2016, office365

Citrix Xen-App

- Configuration and Administration of recent and existing Citrix 7.X infrastructure
- Citrix licensing, Citrix architecture, Citrix Secure Gateway, publishing applications, etc.

Lync Server L1

• Configuration of Lync 2013, user creation setup • Test all Lync features from External and Internal site.

Other Technologies

- DFS – Setting up referrals for File share and troubleshooting
