Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving domestic and international business growth by identifying recent business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing key customer relationships, and leading the complete B2B sales cycle. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, design, finance, and management teams to convert opportunities into successful projects while expanding the company's presence in domestic and global markets.

Key Responsibilities : Business Development

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and manage relationships with customers, consultants, government agencies, EPC contractors, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Identify new market segments and expansion opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

Sales

- Manage the complete B2B sales cycle from lead qualification to contract closure.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical-commercial discussions, and product presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams to develop suitable solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts.
- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

International Business Development

- Identify and develop overseas customers, distributors, and channel partners.




- Develop strategic partnerships in target international markets.
- Participate in international tenders and business opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with international clients and stakeholders.
- Support export business growth through customer acquisition and market expansion.

Tender & Proposal Management

- Identify relevant tender opportunities.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, and management teams for bid preparation.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in compliance with tender requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of bids and customer proposals.
- Coordinate customer clarifications during the bidding process.

Customer Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
- Conduct regular customer follow-ups and business reviews.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate internal support where required.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Finance, and Management teams during proposal development and project handover.
- Support strategic planning and new business initiatives.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM is preferred.

Experience

- 4–8 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, International Sales, or Strategic Partnerships.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, renewable energy, marine, EV, or industrial products is preferred.
- Proven experience in handling domestic and international customers.

Language

- English – Fluent (Mandatory)

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
