Job Summary

The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for understanding customer concerns, recommending appropriate services, coordinating repairs, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and listen carefully to their service needs and concerns
- Create accurate job cards/work orders based on customer input and vehicle inspection
- Explain recommended services, repairs, costs, and timelines clearly to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs
- Follow up with customers regarding service status and completion
- Ensure customer approval before carrying out additional work
- Handle customer complaints professionally and work toward resolution
- Maintain service records and ensure proper documentation
- Promote value-added services and maintenance packages when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service procedures





Required Skills & Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or automotive background preferred)
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing service role
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic technical understanding of vehicles/equipment (depending on industry)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in service management software and basic computer applications

Preferred Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in an automotive/service center environment
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, or spare parts
- Sales or upselling experience is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
