About the Role:

We are looking for a self-driven and passionate React Native Developer Intern who can work independently and take ownership of tasks end-to-end. You will be working on an AI-powered interior design application — from mobile UI to backend APIs to deployment.

Since this is a lean setup, you should be someone who is comfortable working across the full stack, can figure things out on your own, and knows when to ask the right questions. You won't be alone — guidance will be available — but you should be ready to take initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobile Development

- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (iOS & Android).
- Implement clean, responsive UI with smooth navigation and user experience.
- Integrate AI APIs (Gemini Vision for image analysis, Flux for image generation) into the app.

Backend & Database

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MySQL — design schemas, write optimized queries, manage data flow.
- Understand how servers work and apply basic techniques to reduce server load (caching, pagination, efficient queries).

System Design & Scalability

- Basic understanding of how client-server architecture works.




- Awareness of how to scale applications — horizontal vs vertical scaling, load balancing concepts.
- Write code keeping performance and scalability in mind from day one.

Deployment

- Handle Play Store deployment — app signing, build generation, store listing, and updates.
- Basic knowledge of deploying backend on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Railway / Render).

AI Integration

- Integrate and manage third-party AI APIs in the app workflow.
- Understand prompt engineering basics for image analysis and generation tasks.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, and REST API development.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL — queries, joins, and schema design.
- Understanding of how APIs work — request/response cycle, authentication, error handling.
- Basic awareness of system design concepts — servers, load, scaling.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Play Store deployment process.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Robust problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Bonus / Good to Have:

- Prior experience deploying an app on the Play Store.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML API integrations.
- Familiarity with React Navigation, Redux, or Context API.
- Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis basics) or performance optimization.
- Exposure to any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Firebase, Railway).
