Job Summary

Aviagen India is looking for a Nursery Teacher for our Creche to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children aged between 2 to 5 years old. Nursery teaching calls for enthusiastic, imaginative and energetic individuals, capable of helping children bring out their full potential.

Responsibilities

- Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
- Establish and enforce rules for behaviour, and procedures for maintaining order.
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling




- Observe and evaluate children's performance, behaviour, social development, and physical health
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to motivate the kids and develop them to do little activities themselves
- Demonstrate activities to children
- Arrange indoor and outdoor space to facilitate creative play & motor-skill activities

Requirements B.Ed/ D.T. Ed., Any Montessori courses

- Local to Udumalpet or ready to relocate to Udumalpet
- Proven experience as a child care / day-care teacher
- Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
- Methodical and creative
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
