Insurance Executive – Job Description

Job Title: Insurance Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Insurance Executive to manage insurance-related activities, including patient insurance coordination, pre-authorizations, claim processing, documentation, and follow-up with insurance companies and TPAs.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with patients, insurance companies, and TPAs regarding cashless and reimbursement claims.
- Process and submit pre-authorization requests and required medical documents.
- Verify insurance eligibility, policy details, and coverage.
- Coordinate with doctors, billing, medical records, and other departments for required claim documents.
- Follow up on pending approvals, queries, and claim settlements.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and within the required timelines.
- Track claim status and maintain proper records of all insurance cases.
- Handle insurance-related queries from patients and their attendants professionally.
- Identify discrepancies or missing documents and coordinate for timely correction.




- Assist in resolving claim rejections, deductions, and settlement-related issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and insurance information.
- Perform other insurance and billing-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Hospital Adminstration.
- Previous experience in hospital insurance or healthcare claims will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good communication and documentation skills may also be considered.

Skills Required

- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hospital insurance.
- Good computer and MS Office skills.
- Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.

Experience: 1–3 years preferred
