1. Supervising the correct diagnosis and preparation of semen samples in order for assisted reproductive

treatments to be carried out.

2. Controlling and supervising the receipt, analysis, preparation, freezing, storage and registration of

semen samples from Semen Bank patients.

3. Selecting potential donors by means of an interview and analysis of their medical history and semen quality,

as well as checking their semen samples by carrying out the relevant analyses, distributing these, and

monitoring the results.

4. Supervising and carrying out the clinical tasks (patient care and advice) and administrative tasks of the

Andrology Laboratory.

5. Coordinating the Assisted Reproduction Program in men with HIV/Hepatitis C with the other Nova Centers.

6. Coordinating the distribution of semen samples from donors with the other NIF Centers.

7. Being familiar with health regulations,



adapting the Laboratory's activities to these, and ensuring

compliance with the legislation currently in force.

8. Keeping up to date with publications and current techniques that relate to the Laboratory, with the aim

of incorporating improvements into diagnoses and treatments.

9. Monitoring the functioning and quality of Laboratory equipment to maximize its performance.

10. Cleaning and carrying out periodic maintenance of material, according to the protocols established.

11. Controlling stocks of materials and reagents, placing orders and replenishing all consumables in the Laboratory.

Qualification:- Msc. Lab Tech or Andrology.
