TOOL DESIGN ENGINEER:

Job Description:

Using CATIA to analyse existing tooling designs and improve on them.

Developing blueprints for new tooling designs as per client or project specifications.

Sharing designs with colleagues and implementing any relevant feedback in the new designs.

Developing prototypes and testing new designs.

Carrying out quality assurance tests on recent designs.

Traveling to manufacturing plants and factories to gather information and liaise with manufacturing and design teams.

Creating blueprints and designs using CATIA

Design Tools that can withstand all forces acting on them.

Design tools which reduce downtime and hence increase production.

Select the tool material that increases the tool life.

Provide simple and smooth, easy operation machine tools to maximize the efficiency.





To produce the components of high quality that required fewer secondary operations on them.

Tool should maintain the shape of cutting-edge during machining, and it should have sufficient hardness to avoid picking up the chips.

Design Tools that convenient for operators, locate levers, handles, etc. within easy reach of the operator, large enough to reduce hand fatigue.

Education: DME / BE

Experience: Min 3 Yrs Experience in Tool, Fixtures Design

Software Knowledge: CATIA

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
