Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation compliances, payroll processing, and financial reporting. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax (Direct & Indirect Taxation) and should be capable of independently handling accounting activities and guiding the accounts team.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, valuable knowledge of statutory compliances, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
- Ensure proper accounting entries and supporting documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Coordinate with management, auditors, and other departments for accounting-related requirements.

2. GST Compliance

- Prepare and file GST Returns within the prescribed timelines.
- Handle GST-related data preparation, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Reconcile purchase and sales data with GST records.
- Review input tax credit and identify discrepancies.
- Handle GST notices, queries, and correspondence with consultants/authorities when required.
- Ensure proper maintenance of GST-related records.

3. TDS Compliance

- Calculate and deduct TDS as applicable.
- Prepare and file TDS Returns within prescribed deadlines.
- Reconcile TDS deductions and payments.




- Issue TDS certificates/Form 16/Form 16A as applicable.
- Handle TDS-related queries, notices, and corrections.
- Ensure proper compliance with applicable TDS provisions.

4. Income Tax – Direct & Indirect Taxation

- Assist in managing Direct Tax and Indirect Tax compliance.
- Prepare data and documentation for Income Tax Returns.
- Coordinate for computation of taxable income and tax liabilities.
- Assist in advance tax calculations and related compliance.
- Support tax audits and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper tax records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with consultants/CA for tax-related matters whenever required.

5. Payroll Management

- Manage monthly payroll processing and salary calculations.
- Verify attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, and other payroll inputs.
- Calculate statutory deductions such as TDS and other applicable deductions.
- Coordinate with HR for employee payroll-related information.
- Prepare salary sheets and payroll reports.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within timelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and financial information.

6. Team Handling & Supervision

- Supervise and guide the Accounts team in day-to-day activities.
- Allocate work and monitor task completion.
- Review accounting entries and reports prepared by team members.
- Ensure timely completion of GST, TDS,



payroll, and other compliance activities.
- Train and support junior accountants when required.
- Identify errors and ensure timely corrections.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with team members regarding pending activities and deadlines.

7. Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Prepare required schedules, reports, and supporting documents for audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for statutory and internal audits.
- Track compliance deadlines and ensure timely completion.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime/ERP will be preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
