Job Description: Service Manager - Environmental Industry / OCEMS / Pollution Control Equipment

Industry: Environmental / Water & Air Pollution Control

Role Summary: The Service Manager will lead all post-sales service, AMC, and breakdown support for, Air Pollution Control Equipment, and OCEMS installations. You’ll ensure customer satisfaction, high equipment uptime, and achieve service revenue targets across Maharashtra/India.

1. Service Operations & Customer Support

· Lead service team of Engineers, Service coordinators OCEMS sites.

· Handle breakdown calls, emergency site visits, and ensure TAT closure

· Coordinate with clients for preventive maintenance schedules and AMC renewals

· Ensure 95%+ equipment uptime and resolve customer complaints

2. OCEMS & Instrumentation Handling:-

· Supervise installation, commissioning, calibration and data connectivity of OCEMS

· Ensure real-time data transfer to CPCB/SPCB servers and compliance with MoEFCC guidelines

· Troubleshoot analyzers: pH, TDS, DO, Flow, COD, BOD, Stack PM, SOx, NOx monitors

· Liaise with CPCB/SPCB and vendors for certification and audits

3. Team Management & Training:

· Plan manpower deployment, shift rosters, and service engineer travel

· Conduct technical training for service engineers and customer operators

· Review daily service reports, job closure reports, and spare consumption

4.Business & Revenue:

· Drive AMC, spare parts,



and retrofit business from existing installed base

· Prepare service quotations, job cards, and follow up for collections

· Achieve monthly service revenue and AMC renewal targets

· Identify upgradation opportunities for old plants

5.Documentation & Compliance:

· Maintain service database, history cards, and calibration records

· Ensure all jobs follow EHS, LOTO and site safety norms

· Support warranty claims and coordinate with Projects, Purchase, and Accounts teams.

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:

· B.E/B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental / Instrumentation Engineering

· Experience: 6-10 years in service/after-sales. Minimum 3 years in a lead role

· Must have hands-on experience with STP, ETP, WTP, RO, ZLD and Pollution Monitoring Equipment OCEMS experience with CPCB connectivity is mandatory

Required Skills:-

Robust troubleshooting skills for pumps, blowers, PLC, SCADA, and analyzers

· Knowledge of CPCB/SPCB norms, consent conditions, and OCEMS protocols

· Good customer handling, negotiation, and team leadership skillsComputer skills: MS Office, SCADA basics, and service ERP

· Willing to travel extensively across sites. Valid 4-wheeler license

· Experience in handling tenders and government projects is a plus

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
