Job Summary:

We are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Captain to join our Front of House team. The Captain will be responsible for ensuring excellent guest service, managing table operations, coordinating with the kitchen and service team, and maintaining Burma Burma's service standards.

Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a warm and professional dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders and provide menu recommendations. Have good knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens. Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Monitor assigned tables and ensure guest requirements are attended to promptly. Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally. Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and service standards. Coordinate with Stewards, Senior Captains, and Restaurant Managers during service. Upsell food, beverages, and speciality menu items where appropriate.



Monitor billing and ensure orders are accurately entered into the POS system. Follow restaurant SOPs related to service, hygiene, safety, and guest handling. Support smooth restaurant operations during peak hours. Assist in opening and closing duties and maintain proper service standards.

Required Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of restaurant service procedures. Good customer-service and guest-handling skills. Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced restaurant environment. Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing. Good knowledge of food & beverage service. Ability to handle guest complaints professionally. Team-oriented attitude with good coordination skills. Good English communication; knowledge of Hindi/Kannada is an advantage. Eligibility 1–3 years of experience as a Captain / Senior Steward / Restaurant Service Associate in a restaurant, hotel, café, or fine/casual dining environment. Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality is preferred. Candidates with robust restaurant service experience may also be considered without a formal hospitality qualification.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
