About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Child Neurodevelopment Department.
The candidate must have hands-on experience working with children, particularly children with developmental and neurodevelopmental difficulties. The role involves providing individualized occupational therapy to help children improve their functional, motor, sensory and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children and identify their occupational therapy needs.
- Plan and provide individualized occupational therapy sessions.
- Work with children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delay, sensory issues and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Work on fine motor skills, coordination, motor planning and functional abilities.
- Provide sensory integration/sensory-based therapy as appropriate.
- Work on attention, self-regulation and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Use play-based and child-friendly therapy techniques.
- Monitor and document the child's progress regularly.
- Set and review therapy goals based on the child's progress.
- Guide parents regarding home-based activities and therapy goals.
- Coordinate with other members of the Child Neurodevelopment team.
- Maintain proper therapy records and a safe, child-friendly therapy environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT) from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory: Previous hands-on experience working with children.
- Experience in a pediatric OT or child neurodevelopment setting will be preferred.
- Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delay and sensory processing difficulties will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of sensory integration and pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
- Good communication and child-handling skills.
- Patient, empathetic and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good documentation and clinical record-keeping skills.
- Candidates interested in building a long-term career in pediatric occupational therapy will be preferred.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
