Key Responsibilities

A. Corporate Relations & Placements

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, HR professionals, and industry partners.
- Identify and invite reputed organizations for campus recruitment, placement drives, internships, live projects, and industry interactions.
- Coordinate the complete campus recruitment process, including company communication, student registration, eligibility screening, scheduling, interviews, tests, and final selections.
- Maintain a database of recruiters, placement records, offers, joining status, and student placement history.
- Explore opportunities for increasing the number and quality of recruiters visiting the institute.
- Negotiate and coordinate placement-related requirements with recruiting organizations.
- Follow up with selected students and companies regarding offer letters, joining dates, and other formalities.

B. Student Training & Employability Development

- Assess students’ skill gaps and prepare an annual training and employability development plan.
- Organize training programmes on:
- Aptitude and logical reasoning
- Quantitative ability
- Verbal and written communication
- Group discussions
- Personal interviews
- Resume/CV writing
- Presentation skills
- Business communication
- Soft skills and skilled etiquette
- Corporate behaviour and workplace readiness
- Arrange mock interviews, group discussions, aptitude tests, assessment centres, and placement preparation sessions.
- Coordinate with faculty members and external trainers for specialized training programmes.
- Track student participation and performance in training activities.

C. Internship Management





- Develop corporate contacts for summer internships, live projects, and industry-based assignments.
- Coordinate internship opportunities for MBA/BBA and other management students.
- Maintain records of internship applications, allotments, completion, and feedback.
- Ensure students receive proper guidance regarding internship selection and professional conduct.

D. Industry & Academic Interface

- Organize guest lectures, corporate talks, leadership sessions, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and management development programmes.
- Invite industry experts, CXOs, HR professionals, entrepreneurs, and alumni for student interaction.
- Develop industry-institute collaboration opportunities.
- Coordinate MoUs and long-term engagement initiatives with companies and professional organizations.

E. Placement Data & Reporting

- Prepare monthly, semester-wise, and annual placement reports.
- Maintain accurate records of:
- Students registered for placements
- Companies approached
- Companies participating
- Number of offers
- Placement percentage
- Highest, average, and median salary packages
- Internships
- Students pursuing higher studies/entrepreneurship
- Prepare placement presentations, brochures, reports, and management updates.
- Provide placement-related data and documents for accreditation, inspection,



ranking, and institutional reporting requirements.

F. Student Coordination

- Conduct regular placement orientation and awareness sessions.
- Communicate placement opportunities, eligibility criteria, schedules, and recruitment guidelines to students.
- Ensure students follow placement-cell rules and professional standards.
- Counsel students regarding career options, job profiles, industry expectations, and recruitment processes.
- Maintain discipline and professionalism during recruitment drives.

G. Alumni Engagement

- Develop and maintain an active alumni network for placement and internship support.
- Establish contact with alumni working in reputed organizations.
- Encourage alumni participation in recruitment, mentoring, guest lectures, networking, and career guidance.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The performance of the Training & Placement Officer may be evaluated on the basis of:

- Number and quality of companies participating in campus recruitment.
- Overall student placement percentage.
- Average and highest salary packages.
- Number of new corporate recruiters added annually.
- Number of internship opportunities generated.
- Number of industry interactions and training programmes conducted.
- Student participation and performance in placement activities.
- Corporate and student feedback.
- Alumni and industry engagement.
- Timely and accurate maintenance of placement records and reports.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
