We are looking for an EDP Executive who can understand business processes, identify ERP bugs and process gaps, coordinate with the development team, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of the ERP across the organization.
The ideal candidate should have robust ERP implementation, process mapping, functional testing, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and map business processes of different departments.
- Identify gaps between existing processes and ERP workflows.
- Prepare process flows, SOPs, workflows and functional requirements.
- Identify, analyze and document ERP bugs, errors and system issues.
- Coordinate with the ERP/software development team for bug resolution.
- Conduct functional testing, UAT and regression testing.
- Verify fixes and new features before implementation.
- Coordinate ERP implementation across HR, Accounts, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch and Gate Management.
- Ensure proper data flow and integration between different ERP modules.
- Understand user requirements and convert them into ERP functional requirements.
- Provide first-level support to ERP users.
- Train employees on ERP processes and functionalities.
- Monitor ERP usage and identify implementation issues.
- Verify ERP reports, MIS and data accuracy.
- Maintain ERP Bug Tracker, Issue Tracker and Implementation Tracker.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Coordinate between Management, Department Heads, ERP Users and Developers.
- Ensure that employees follow standardized ERP processes after implementation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and business process management.
- Excellent process flow identification and mapping skills.
- Experience in ERP implementation or ERP functional support.
- Good knowledge of software testing and bug identification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate effectively with developers.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with multiple departments.
- Knowledge of SQL/database concepts will be an advantage.
