To lead and control manufacturing operations for solar module mounting structures, ensuring planned production, product quality, efficient use of manpower and materials, workplace safety, and timely completion of production targets. The role is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, controlling production costs, and maintaining smooth factory operations.

Position:

Production Head – Solar Module Mounting Structure

Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution

- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production as per customer requirements and targets.
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing activities including fabrication, assembly, and finishing of solar module mounting structures.
- Prepare production plans, shift schedules, manpower requirements, and production records.

Production & Resource Management

- Monitor production output, machine utilization, manpower productivity, material consumption, and production losses.
- Ensure availability of materials, machines, manpower, tools, and shop-floor resources for uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, engineering, maintenance, and dispatch teams to maintain production flow.

Quality & Process Improvement

- Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Identify bottlenecks, reduce downtime, rejection, rework, material wastage, and production losses.
- Implement standard operating procedures, process controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety & Workforce Management

- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of production machines, tools, equipment, and material-handling systems.
- Monitor workplace safety, housekeeping, discipline, and compliance with factory procedures.
- Train and guide production personnel on processes, quality, safety, and standard operating procedures.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Review production reports and key performance indicators and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Monitor production efficiency, quality, cost, machine downtime, and overall operational performance.
- Prepare regular production reports and provide management with updates on output, efficiency, quality, and operational issues.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in module mounting structure factory.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes for solar module mounting structures and related fabrication activities.
- Strong production planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
- Understanding of production planning, capacity utilization, material flow, and shop-floor management.
- Ability to manage production targets, manpower, machines, materials, and factory resources effectively.
