Position: Senior Costing Engineer – Casting & Machining

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Work From Office

Salary: Up to 10 LPA (Yearly)

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate cost estimates for ferrous & non-ferrous castings and machined components.

* Develop cost models for sand casting, die casting (GDC/PDC), investment casting, and bar stock.

* Analyze machining costs, tooling, machine time, overheads, and production feasibility.

* Collaborate with Design (NPD), Procurement, and suppliers for RFQs and cost optimization.

* Maintain costing databases, BOMs, and historical cost records.

* Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.





* 4 to 7 years of experience in costing/estimation within the casting, forging, or manufacturing industry.

* Solid understanding of foundry processes, machining operations, and cost structures.

* Experience with OEM or foundry costing, BOM management, and Microsoft Excel.

* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

* Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, or Heavy Manufacturing.

* Exposure to Foundry New Product Development (NPD).

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
