HR Manager – Packaging Manufacturing Plant
Responsibilities:
- Manage complete HR operations for the recent packaging manufacturing plant at Umbergaon
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of production, quality, maintenance, warehouse, administration, and support staff
- Manage manpower planning, attendance, shifts, leave, payroll coordination, and employee records
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, factory regulations, PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, SOPs, and employee documentation for the plantAABC
- Handle employee relations, grievances, discipline, performance management, and workplace engagement
- Coordinate with plant management to ensure adequate manpower and smooth day-to-day operations
- Manage contract labour and coordinate with manpower agencies and contractors
- Organise employee training, safety programmes, induction, and skill development initiatives
- Support the management in building a positive, disciplined, and productive work culture
- Prepare regular HR, manpower, attendance, and compliance reports for management
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing / factory environment
- Experience in setting up or managing HR operations for a manufacturing plant will be preferred
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll, and contract labour management
- Good understanding of shift-based manufacturing workforce management
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and employee management skills
- Self-motivated, organised, dependable, and capable of working independently
- Knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi would be an advantage
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
