Job Title: Freelance Structural Designer – RCC & Steel Structures | Hyderabad

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Structural Designer based in Hyderabad to support our Indian and international projects, including UAE projects.

Scope of Work

- Structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures
- Residential villas, apartments, commercial buildings and industrial structures
- Analysis and design using ETABS, PROTECTED, STAAD.Pro and/or PROKON
- Design of slabs, beams, columns, shear walls and staircases
- Foundation design including isolated, combined, strip, raft and pile foundations
- Steel beam, column, truss, bracing, platform and canopy design
- Base plate, anchor bolt and connection design
- Preparation of structural calculation reports
- Preparation of design sketches and structural mark-ups
- Coordination with architectural and MEP drawings
- Ability to independently handle complete structural design assignments

Required Software Skills

- ETABS
- SAFE
- STAAD.Pro
- PROKON
- AutoCAD
- Revit Structure knowledge will be an advantage

Codes & Standards

Good working knowledge of:

- ACI Codes
- AISC Codes
- ASCE Standards
- IBC
- Indian Standards / IS Codes
- IS 456
- IS 800
- IS 875
- IS 1893
- Knowledge of BS / Eurocodes will be an advantage

Candidate Requirements





- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant structural design experience
- Strong knowledge of RCC and steel structure design
- Ability to independently perform analysis, design and calculations
- Experience preparing professional structural calculation reports
- Good understanding of structural behaviour and construction practices
- Experience with Indian projects
- UAE / Middle East / international project experience preferred
- Able to work independently and meet agreed submission deadlines

Engagement Type

Freelance / Project-Based

Work will be assigned based on project requirements.

Location

Hyderabad, Telangana

Remote working may be considered, but Hyderabad-based freelancers will be preferred.

Payment

Payment will be agreed on a project-wise or hourly basis, depending on project scope, experience and technical capability.
