About the Role

Urmilla Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., a leading construction equipment rental and infrastructure services company, is looking for dynamic professionals to join its Purchase & Supply Chain Management team. The role will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor management, procurement, cost optimization and ensuring timely availability of materials, spares and services across business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement activities from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) and delivery.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Source construction equipment spares, mechanical/electrical components, consumables, tools, services and other indirect materials.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
- Prepare comparative statements and recommend suppliers based on cost, quality and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Monitor purchase orders, pending orders, lead times and material availability.
- Develop alternate sources to minimize supply risks and improve procurement efficiency.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations.
- Work closely with Stores, Maintenance, Operations, Finance and Projects teams to understand material requirements.




- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies, approved budgets and authorization matrix.
- Support cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.
- Track market prices and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain proper documentation of quotations, POs, invoices, vendor records and procurement transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/operations to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with applicable commercial, quality and procurement procedures.
- Generate MIS and procurement reports covering spend, savings, pending POs, vendor performance and lead time.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations / Commerce / Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 2–15 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement or SCM.
- Candidates with experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, engineering or industrial equipment will be preferred.
- Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, commercial terms and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
- Valuable analytical, communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage time-critical requirements.

Pay: ₹16,944.61 - ₹100,000.00 per month
