Role Overview

Seeking an experienced and result-oriented Design Engineer – Design (Static Equipment) for our mechanical design operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end mechanical design, thermal calculations, ASME code compliance, client interface, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Design & Engineering

● Perform complete mechanical design and calculations for static and pressure equipment, including Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Pressure Vessels, and Columns.

● Execute code-compliant designs adhering to standard international specifications: ASME Sec VIII Div 1 & Div 2, TEMA, EN 13445, and PD 5500.

● Conduct mechanical design calculations using PV ELITE as well as manual calculation methodologies.

2. Quality, Compliance & Audit Management

● Lead design compliance and execution for ASME U Stamp and U2 Stamp jobs.





● Participate actively in internal and external ASME and ISO audits, maintaining exact engineering documentation.

● Prepare, review, and check Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC).

3. Estimation & Project Planning

● Conduct technical evaluations for tender costing and cost estimation for bidding.

● Review and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).

● Check and review General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detail fabrication drawings, and P&ID; diagrams.

Key Skills & Software Technical Stack

● Design Codes & Standards: ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2, TEMA, EN 13445, PD 5500.

● Design & Analysis Software: PV Elite, HTRI.

● Drawing & Layout Tools: AutoCAD, General Arrangement (GA) & P&ID; interpretation.

● Certifications Support: ASME U & U2 Stamps, ISO audit documentation.

Candidate Requirements

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).

● Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in static equipment design.

Pay: Up to ₹750,000.00 per year
