Hands-on expertise in video management software’s like Genetec, Milestone, etc. Responsibilities:
Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict & plan resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare project budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track resources and project costs in order to meet timelines and budget
- Develop, manage & document a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Communicate professionally with the customer and provide project updates on a consistent basis to all stakeholders about strategy, change process, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage relationship with subcontractor vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating and ensuring expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Ensure HSE and safety guidelines as per customer demands
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure successful handover of project with all desired drawings and documentation
- Manage complete cycle right from kick-off meeting to project handover process.
- Qualifications & Skills:
- Engineering Graduate.
- 5-7 years of security project management and related experience
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Experience of seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Solid interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to complete projects according to scope, budget, and timeline
- Excellent risk management skills
- Extensive customer facing experience at senior levels
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Ability to ensure quality and maintain a customer focus
- Proven record of delivering a variety of projects under security and surveillance industry
- Ability to manage, lead and motivate a project team
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, gaining acceptance to proposals.
- Experience of preparing the Project Initiation document
- Identify and allocate roles and responsibilities within the project team
- Identify and manage resource requirements in the project team
- Guide, support and advise customers on the benefits and implications of proposed solutions
- Develop, control and manage the project schedule
- Ensure that risks are identified and managed, implementing effective risk responses to minimize the project’s exposure to risk
- This role requires travel and long period stay at site locations.
