The System Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the school's IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, networks, internet connectivity, biometric systems, CCTV, smart classrooms, software applications, and other technology systems. The role requires ensuring smooth and uninterrupted IT operations across the school.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & Network

- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Maintain servers, storage systems, and other IT infrastructure.
- Ensure proper configuration and security of network devices.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and external IT vendors.

Hardware & Software Management

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, interactive panels, and other IT equipment.
- Manage operating systems, antivirus, software applications, and updates.
- Maintain an updated inventory of all IT assets.
- Coordinate repairs, replacements, and warranty claims.
- Provide technical support to teachers, administrative staff, and management.

School Technology Systems

- Manage and support biometric attendance systems and attendance-related technology.
- Provide technical support for ERP, HRMS, LMS, student information systems, and other school software.
- Support smart classrooms, interactive touch panels, digital learning systems, and examination systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV and access-control systems in coordination with vendors.




- Ensure smooth operation of computer labs and other technology-enabled facilities.

Data Security & Backup

- Implement appropriate cybersecurity and access-control measures.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access rights.
- Conduct regular data backups and verify backup availability.
- Protect confidential student, employee, academic, and administrative information.
- Monitor systems for unauthorized access, malware, and security threats.

User Support

- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to staff.
- Resolve hardware, software, network, email, and system-related issues.
- Conduct basic IT training for teachers and non-teaching staff when required.
- Maintain an IT helpdesk/ticketing or complaint register and ensure timely resolution.

IT Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain records of IT assets, licenses, warranties, network devices, and software.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, downtime, incidents, and maintenance.
- Maintain network diagrams, system documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure software licenses and subscriptions are renewed on time.

3. Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP,



and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and backup systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace is preferred.
- Experience in managing biometric, CCTV, ERP/HRMS, and school IT systems is an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle urgent technical issues.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

4. Qualification

Essential:

- B.E./B.Tech – IT / Computer Science, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Certifications:

- CCNA
- Microsoft certifications
- CompTIA
- Any relevant networking or cybersecurity certification

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Network and internet uptime.
- Timely resolution of IT complaints.
- Reduction in system downtime.
- Proper maintenance of IT assets.
- Successful implementation of backups.
- Cybersecurity and system compliance.
- Timely maintenance of biometric, CCTV, smart classroom, and ERP systems.
- User satisfaction among teaching and administrative staff.

6. Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of hands-on IT administration experience, preferably in a school, college, educational institution, or multi-campus organization. The candidate should be proactive, reliable, security-conscious, and capable of handling multiple IT systems simultaneously.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
