Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Furniture Designer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing furniture concepts from initial ideation through detailed working drawings and production coordination. Candidates from reputed design institutes/colleges with a strong design portfolio will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative furniture concepts aligned with project requirements and design language.
- Prepare mood boards, concept sketches, 3D visualizations, and presentation materials.
- Design bespoke furniture for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
- Produce detailed working drawings, joinery details, material specifications, and production drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, vendors, and craftsmen during design development and execution.
- Conduct material research and suggest suitable finishes, hardware, and construction techniques.
- Ensure designs are practical, ergonomic, cost-effective, and production-friendly.
- Review prototypes and site installations to maintain design quality and accuracy.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design,



or related field from a reputed design institute/college.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in furniture design and detailing.
- Strong conceptual and creative design skills with a good understanding of furniture aesthetics and functionality.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed working drawings.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, or similar 3D software.
- Positive understanding of materials such as wood, veneer, metal, upholstery, stone, and hardware systems.
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly through drawings and presentations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in custom/bespoke furniture projects.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and workshop practices.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design and technical detailing.
