Job Purpose

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store, driving sales performance, managing inventory, leading staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining store operational and visual merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Performance Management

- Achieve and exceed store sales targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and financial goals.
- Monitor daily sales, traffic trends, and inventory levels to maximize performance.
- Analyze sales data and reports to implement effective selling strategies.

2. Operations & Inventory Control

- Oversee daily opening, closing, and cash register workflows.
- Manage inventory control, stock audits, shrinkage prevention, and stock replenishment.
- Ensure store safety, security, hygiene, and compliance with company policies and guidelines.

3. Team Leadership & Staff Management

- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate store staff (Sales Executives, Cashiers, Support Staff).
- Manage staff shift schedules, weekly offs, rosters, and daily attendance submissions.
- Ensure team compliance with store dress code, grooming standards, and behavioral guidelines.

4. Customer Service & Visual Merchandising





- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated customer complaints promptly.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards, window displays, and product arrangements meet visual guidelines.
- Ensure smooth store navigation, cleanliness, and product accessibility.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 4-5+ years of experience in retail store operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Basic knowledge of retail POS systems, MS Excel, and inventory software.
- Solid problem-solving ability and financial awareness.
- Adaptability: This JD covers standard retail duties (apparel, sarees, general retail, electronics).
- Revisions: You can customize specific details like targets, store timing, shift formats, or reporting structures.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
