​Educational Qualifification - LLB (Mandatory)

Manage the legal editing process of books, journals and looseleaf titles, or related products in publishing

Responsibilities:

- Content editing of legal manuscripts wherein veracity of facts that seem incorrect, including faulty organisation of content and gaps in logic have to be identified and queried
- Language editing wherein all errors in grammar and syntax are to be corrected, and any misleading language needs to be revised
- Ability to read and understand the Bills/Amendments of the primary Acts and to accurately capture and summarise such amendments for publication
- Liaise with external contributors for materials and for resolving queries, ensuring such materials are handed over within a pre-defined schedule




- Proofread well-structured materials based on pre-defined templates and style requirements
- Other activities include writing explanatory materials for judgments, securities-related legislative products
- Ability to use government websites for the latest legislation-related updates
- Conform to client-style requirements in respect of legal writing and comprehension
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely publication
- Deliver content with a short TAT

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
