Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior General Physician with 7-8 years of post-qualification experience in General Medicine. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for adult patients.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Diabetology, Obesity Management, Lifestyle Disorders, and other metabolic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide outpatient consultation, clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients.

* Manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

* Diagnose and manage Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Obesity, Dyslipidemia, Thyroid disorders, and other lifestyle-related conditions.

* Develop individualised treatment and follow-up plans.

* Review and interpret laboratory and diagnostic reports.

* Provide preventive healthcare and health counselling.

* Counsel patients regarding medication adherence, diet, exercise, weight management,



and lifestyle modifications.

* Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow-up care.

* Identify cases requiring specialist consultation and make appropriate referrals.

* Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

* Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and ethical medical practices.

* Coordinate with nursing, diagnostic, pharmacy, and other healthcare teams as required.

* Participate in health check-ups, preventive healthcare programs, and other clinical activities.

Eligibility

* MBBS with MD in General Medicine from a recognised institution.

* 7 - 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

* Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.

* Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication and patient counselling skills.

* Patient-centric and ethical approach to clinical practice.
