SITE ENGINEER - INTERIOR CONTRACTS

We are looking for a Site Engineer – Interior Contracts to manage and supervise interior project execution at site. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day interior execution activities at project sites.
- Coordinate and manage interior contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site labour.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor activities such as:
- Civil and finishing works
- False ceiling
- Gypsum works
- Partition works
- Flooring
- Painting
- Carpentry and joinery
- Electrical and lighting coordination
- Furniture and other interior works
- Check measurements and monitor work quantities executed at site.
- Coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager regarding measurements, BOQ, variations, and contractor bills.
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies or site-related issues before execution.
- Coordinate with the design and project teams for RFI, drawing clarifications, and design changes.
- Ensure materials are available at site as per the project schedule.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship received at site.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the agreed timeline.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site reports, material records, and work status updates.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders during site execution.




- Identify site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Monitor contractor manpower and productivity at site.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Support snag identification, rectification, and project handover.
- Ensure proper documentation and completion records are maintained.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of interior fit-out and execution works.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, MEP and working drawings.
- Valuable understanding of BOQ, measurements and material specifications.
- Contractor and subcontractor management skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and site management skills.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in interior fit-out / interior contracting / construction site execution.
- Freshers with relevant site knowledge may also be considered for junior positions.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
Location: Bangalore
Joining: Immediate / As per notice period.

Pay: ₹10,948.78 - ₹37,687.96 per month
