Job Description – HR ExecutivePosition: HR Executive
Department: Human Resources
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: noida
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: 15000 to 25000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle, recruitment, payroll coordination, attendance, employee engagement, and compliance. The person will be responsible for creating a positive, disciplined, and productive workplace while ensuring that HR policies and labour-law requirements are followed.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from manpower requirement to joining.
- Prepare and publish job descriptions and job postings.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and other channels.
- Screen CVs and conduct initial HR interviews.
- Coordinate technical/departmental interviews.
- Negotiate salary and manage offer letters and joining formalities.
- Maintain a database of candidates and recruitment status.
- Ensure timely hiring against approved manpower requirements.
2. Salary & Payroll Management
- Prepare and maintain monthly salary data.
- Verify attendance, leaves, late marks, deductions, incentives, and overtime before payroll processing.
- Coordinate with accounts/management for timely salary disbursement.
- Maintain salary structures and employee compensation records.
- Handle employee salary-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee salary information.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Maintain daily employee attendance records.
- Monitor late coming, absenteeism, leave, work-from-home, and overtime.
- Manage the leave application and approval process.
- Prepare monthly attendance reports for payroll.
- Identify recurring absenteeism or attendance issues and take corrective action.
4. Employee Motivation & Engagement
- Develop initiatives to improve employee motivation, productivity, and retention.
- Conduct employee engagement activities, celebrations, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Introduce Employee of the Month/Quarter and performance recognition programs.
- Regularly interact with employees to understand their concerns.
- Conduct employee satisfaction and feedback surveys.
- Help create a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
5. Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Handle disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.
- Conduct grievance meetings and maintain proper documentation.
- Mediate conflicts between employees and departments.
- Maintain healthy communication between management and employees.
- Conduct exit interviews and identify reasons for employee attrition.
6. Labour Law & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labour laws and employment regulations.
- Maintain required employee and statutory records.
- Coordinate with consultants/legal counsel on labour-law matters.
- Handle notices, inspections, and correspondence relating to labour authorities.
- Assist management in matters relating to Labour Court, Labour Department, employee disputes, show-cause notices, and employment-related legal matters.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for legal or statutory proceedings.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable PF, ESI, gratuity, minimum wages, professional tax, Shops & Establishments requirements, and other applicable regulations, as relevant to the organisation.
7. HR Policies & Documentation
- Draft, implement, and update HR policies and SOPs.
- Maintain employee files, joining documents, agreements, KYC, and other HR records.
- Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, promotion letters, experience letters, and relieving letters.
- Ensure proper documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Maintain HR MIS and management reports.
8. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance reviews and appraisal processes.
- Track probation periods and confirmation dates.
- Work with managers to define KRAs/KPIs.
- Identify performance issues and coordinate improvement plans.
- Support management in promotions, increments, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
9. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage onboarding and induction of current employees.
- Ensure employees understand company policies, roles, responsibilities, and code of conduct.
- Coordinate confirmation, promotion, transfer, resignation, and full & final settlement processes.
- Ensure proper exit and handover procedures.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and recruitment.
- Good understanding of payroll and attendance management.
- Knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong conflict-resolution and employee-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good documentation and HR MIS skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and HRMS software.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in HR generalist/HR operations roles.
- Experience in recruitment and payroll coordination.
- Experience handling employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Exposure to labour-law compliance and labour disputes will be an advantage.
- Experience in a startup or fast-growing organisation is preferred.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be people-oriented but firm when required, capable of balancing employee welfare with organisational discipline. The person should be comfortable handling recruitment, salaries, attendance, employee issues, labour-law matters, and management coordination while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Pay: ₹12,626.34 - ₹20,000.00 per month
