We are looking for an experienced Tool Setter to join our manufacturing team in Ambattur, Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and prepare tools for production as per job requirements.
- Perform tool setting and adjustments for production machines.
- Ensure proper tool alignment, dimensions, and quality.
- Monitor tool performance during production.
- Make necessary tool corrections and replacements.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams.
- Maintain tools and equipment in positive working condition.
- Follow safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as a Tool Setter / Tool Room Technician.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
- Good knowledge of tool setting, measuring instruments, and production processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
