About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef to join our Mumbai Lounge kitchen team. The candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure food is prepared as per company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Chef/Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare food items as per standardized recipes and portion requirements.
- Handle basic food preparation, cutting, chopping, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and properly.
- Support the team during busy operational hours.
- Follow instructions from the Chef/Sous Chef and maintain discipline in the kitchen.





Candidate Requirements

- Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, catering, or hospitality environment.
- Freshers with relevant culinary qualifications may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
